Rebuilding the Mind: A Journey Through Art And Healing
At 22, I set out to merge my boundless artistic vision with my expertise in fine furniture—creating a brand that challenges convention.
My journey wasn’t only about mastering craftsmanship—it was a journey of resilience. A traumatic brain injury shifted the course of my life, reshaping everything I knew about myself. In the process of relearning how to speak, walk, and re-enter the world, I found solace in woodworking. I began carving not just wood—but my path back to life. Each piece brought me closer to reclaiming a sense of self. This was not the same “self” I knew, but this person was growing on me. As these pieces
took shape so did my new identity.
What I create is not just furniture. It’s a conduit for emotion. Each creation carries not just beauty but an energy, a resonance that transforms a space.
My formal education in cabinet and furniture construction honed my technical skills, but it was through the process of creation—fueled by recovery—that I truly found my passion. Artistry with intent. Not mass producing, not driven by profit, each piece is unique and meticulously carved by hand.
Art saved my life. It became my therapy, my meditation. Now, I return that gift, pouring my heart into every design, inspiring others to do the same.
This is not just my business, it is the physical manifestation of turning hardship into beauty. A place where adversity becomes passion, and where every creation tells a story.
